You already know what your pets needs for winter, but what about spring? Hopefully winter will be short and spring will just be around the corner. In the mean time, why not get a head start on spring cleaning your pet’s wardrobe.Plus, if your dog has grown, gained or lost weight, a portion of their clothes may no longer fit or be comfortable.

Here are a few tips to make this task easier. You can divide the clothes into three boxes, bins, etc. You can label them, those to keep, toss and donate. This method makes it easier to sort out what you want to keep and what additional clothing you need to buy. Shopping trip! You can store your pet’s clothing in either a dog wardrobe closet or a number of storage solutions including wicker bins available at most stores or online.

You can also apply this method for organizing and sorting out toys and blankets. If your dogs don’t share toys or you just want to organize the current collection of dog toys, you can use the same method here as well. Especially when you have toys that are different sizes or toys that each dog prefers, this helps to keep them not only organized but in one central place. You can also designate one central area for the toys such as a room, hallway or kitchen where each dog can go and retrieve the toy he or she desires.

It’s also a good idea to sort out each dog’s blanket collection as well, especially if they have favorites. This way each dog has their own set of blankets, plus you know which ones are clean and which need to be washed. There are a number of solutions for organizing your pet’s apparel, blankets and toys. These are just a few suggestions to keep in mind. One additional benefit to being organized means more play time and walks.
